How to Cancel Netflix: step by step

Sign in to Netflix and open Manage your membership for the active account.

Choose Cancel and Finish Cancellation, or use the payment partner named by Netflix when no direct cancel option appears.

Confirm the service end date
Netflix generally keeps a direct-billed account available through the end of the current billing period.

Save the email
Keep the confirmation email and check that the account no longer shows an upcoming renewal.

Deleting the app does not cancel
Netflix says signing out or deleting the app does not end the membership.
Partner billing changes the route
If another company bills the membership, cancellation must be completed with that payment partner.
Special balances can change the end date
A gift-card or promotional balance may keep the service available until the balance is used.
